About us
How We Started
For the longest time, I've had this burning desire to create a community where people uplift each other, spread positivity, and make a real difference in the world. But I didn't know where to start.
Then came the pandemic. As COVID-19 swept across the globe, people were stuck at home, missing the simple joy of visiting their horses at the barn. That's when virtual trail rides on Red Dead Online became a lifeline. But as a PC player myself, I noticed something missing—there were no organized rides for us.
So, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I set up a Discord server for PC gamers, and The Rift was born.
It's been incredible to see how quickly The Rift has grown. People from all walks of life, from every corner of the globe, have come together here. We've forged friendships, explored virtual trails, and found solace in each other's company during those tough days of quarantine and social distancing.
Even as the world opened up again, our community's spirit remains as strong as ever. With 10,000 members. In fact, we're hosting more events and trail rides now than we ever have before, and I couldn't be prouder of what we've built together.

With the unwavering support of our amazing community, we've created a space that's all about spreading good vibes, looking out for each other's mental health, and offering love and acceptance to everyone who walks through our virtual doors.

As a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, inclusivity is at the heart of everything we do at The Rift. We're not just about gaming skills; we're about building connections and celebrating each other for who we are.

I've always dreamed of creating a community like this—one where people come together, uplift each other and make a positive impact. And I'm so grateful to everyone who's joined me on this journey.

What Are Trail Rides?
Trail rides are an in-game meet-up where we ride our virtual horses around the map and enjoy the view, company, and conversations! They are relaxing and meant to be a way to destress, though sometimes we do like to have a bit of chaotic fun! We host multiple trails nearly every day, as well as larger charity events to raise money for the causes we love such as BLM and the LGBTQIA+ community almost once a month!
